Popping fireworks in Corpus Christi can result in $2,000 fines

As New Year’s Eve approaches, the Corpus Christi fire and police departments are warning residents not to use fireworks within city limits, including beaches.

Fireworks are strictly prohibited in Corpus Christi and could result in fines of up to $2,000 for each opened package of fireworks.
