A Waukee woman was arrested Saturday on a Dallas County warrant in connection with a July incident in which she allegedly left a resident lying on the floor for three hours after falling at a Waukee care center.
Bede Page Newman Kamara, 65, of 825 S.E. Jonas Circle, Waukee, was charged with caretaker willingly and knowingly commits dependent adult abuse.
The incident occurred July 8 at a care center in Waukee, where Kamara allegedly allowed a resident “to lay on the floor for up to three hours after she fell without seeking help,” according to court records filed by the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing…
