LUBBOCK, Texas — The City of Lubbock is accepting applications for the Lake Alan Henry Board of Appeals, this is for citizens to be an active part in their city’s future. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, January 21.

Reviews new construction permit applications and requests for variances to existing construction within Lake Alan Henry’s restrictive easement according to the provisions of Section 2-570 of Ordinance 2008-O0038. Reviews applications pursuant to the Lake Alan Henry Erosion Control Plan, and variances from the regulations as filed in writing with the City Planning Department. Prescribes the materials and documents to be submitted with the permit application. Issues permits for construction and hears appeals as set forth in Section 2-580 of the Code of Ordinances.
