West Omaha family gets mail delivery back after seven-month wait

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Ben Stephens drives a pickup, not a Mustang, but for his parents the past seven months, he’s been a modern version of the Pony Express.

“I’ve been having to drive here once or twice a week to pick up their mail for them,” Ben Stephens said. “Some of it’s important stuff — my brother, his medical results and his medical bills too, because he just went through cancer.”

During the week, his working parents can’t get to the post office before it closes, so he picks up their mail and takes it home…
