BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A blast of Winter air will make for a very cold next few days. If you’re not a fan of the cold, lucky for you it doesn’t last long.
ARCTIC BLAST
Our latest Arctic blast is making it feel like Winter once again. Cold air from Canada will continue to flow south and clip the local area. A combination of cold temperatures and gusty winds will make for dangerously cold conditions overnight
The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory to account for potential of wind chill values in the teens° and low 20°s early Tuesday morning. Temperatures will dip below freezing for the next two mornings.
We expect light freeze conditions both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. That means freeze preps need to be finished Monday night and Tuesday night. Take care of people, pets, and plants. Pipes won’t be an issue this time…
