Fire leaves 4 people displaced in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — At least four people are unable to be in their home after a fire at their apartment complex in northeast Albuquerque.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded Saturday at 9:09 p.m. to the Chelsea Village Apartments on Natalie Avenue, near Montgomery and Louisiana. Crews found a fire on the second floor and brought it under control within a few minutes.

AFR determined it was a fire that rekindled after they put it out at around 12:30 p.m. When crews responded to the first call, they put out a fire within a few minutes. They also treated two people at the scene for smoke inhalation and minor burns…
