Another pedestrian has been killed in a crash on Fairfax County roads.
Officers were dispatched to the ultimately fatal crash at Route 29 and Hideaway Road, just north of the Providence Place (formerly Pan Am) shopping center, in Merrifield at 6:48 p.m., according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
“The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to the hospital in life-threatening condition and was later pronounced deceased,” the FCPD said on social media. “The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene.”…
