High fire risk prompts warning from officials

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Multiple brush fires broke out across Aiken County over the last few weeks.

The fires come as fire departments across the CSRA remain on high alert due to dangerous fire weather conditions created by high winds and dry conditions.

A local council member is stepping up to support a free medical clinic that serves uninsured and underinsured residents across Orangeburg County.
