An apartment fire in Fayetteville left a woman dead and a child critically injured Monday, authorities said.
It happened at the Kensington Court Apartments in the 6400 block of Yadkin Road.
Firefighters responded at 1:05 p.m. and found flames coming from the apartment. They were able to get a woman and a child out and transport them to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with serious injuries…
