The average price at the gas pump has continued to drop at the national, state and county levels as the year 2025 comes to a close. According to AAA, Monday’s national average is $2.83 per gallon, which is down three cents from a week ago. New York State is now averaging $3.05, a decrease of nearly two cents since last Monday. And Chautauqua County’s average fell by over two cents to $3.26. One year ago, the national and statewide averages were $3.03 and $3.13, respectively.
