The Wakehouse posted on social media on Sunday that they’re closing down in the coming weeks, citing both the current economic climate, as well as a growing need for repairs, upgrades and operational changes.
We have reached a point where we cannot continue operating in a way that truly reflects our values.

Managers at The Wakehouse do not consider the move a permanent closure, adding that they “hope this pause creates room for a stronger, more intentional path forward, even as we acknowledge that the outcome is uncertain.”…
