Man allegedly assaults, points gun at girlfriend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was accused of assaulting and pointing a gun at his girlfriend Saturday, according to Memphis Police.

Lorenzo Clark, 29, was charged with  Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Vandalism $1,000 or less.

On Dec. 27, just before 2 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 2600 block of Wellons Avenue.

When officers arrived on the scene, they were told that the victim’s boyfriend had assaulted her and pointed a weapon at her.

Police said on Monday at 6:45 a.m., MPD’s Fugitive Unit, along with the DEA Special Response Team, arrived at a residence in the 3200 block of Cypress Road to arrest Lorenzo Clark, who had an active warrant for Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Vandalism $1,000 or less…
