PLACERVILLE, Calif. (KOLO) – In 2025, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a list of new laws that will take effect on Thursday, Jan. 1.
“The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is committed to keeping the public informed so they can make the safest choices for themselves and their families,” according to its website.
