The Toledo Fire & Rescue Department’s water rescue unit recovered a body Monday from the Maumee River in downtown Toledo.
Crews were called to the river behind the Imagination Station at 1:45 p.m. on a report of a person in the water. Rescue crews were able to find and remove the body a short time later.
