SOUTH BAY, Fla. (CBS12) — Two Florida men are accused of tampering with gas pumps to steal diesel fuel, causing $1,000 in damage, and attempting to get away with gallons of windshield fluid using a “five-finger discount.”
According to an arrest affidavit from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), at approximately 6:14 a.m., deputies responded to the Pilot Gas Station near South Bay after receiving reports of an alleged theft that had occurred. Deputies had already pulled over the suspect vehicle, a white 2012 semi-pickup truck.
