NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Organizers are preparing for Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash at Bicentennial Mall, with an estimated 250,000 people expected to attend the celebration.
The anticipated crowd is about 100,000 fewer than the city’s Fourth of July event; however, organizers remain focused on their primary objective.
“Keeping the attendees safe is the number one priority,” said Deana Ivey, CEO of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation, the organization coordinating both the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve events.
