A wind advisory is in effect for parts of Southeast Texas from 6 p.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday as a strong cold front brings a sharp return to winterlike conditions.
While Houston is not officially included, areas west and south of the city — including Galveston and coastal Harris County — will see strong northerly winds accompanying a noticeable drop in temperatures.
