Candy Cloud is breaking ground on its first drive-thru in Machesney Park, taking the Rockford-born brand from food trailer roots to 13 locations nationwide.
The new spot is planned for 173 West Lane Road near Tom & Jerry’s, according to a community announcement.
The drive-thru will be the brand’s first of its kind, designed to bring Candy Cloud’s specialty drinks, layered ice creams and treats to guests faster and more conveniently, according to the announcement.
