PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A suspect is in the hospital after a shooting involving Phoenix police in the city’s northside late Saturday night.
The shooting happened in the area of 28th and Larkspur drives, north of Cactus Road, around 11:30 p.m. According to Phoenix Police Sgt. Lorraine Fernandez, officers were in the area for an unrelated call when the suspect began yelling at them as they were getting back into their vehicle.
