WOODBRIDGE, VA – A 29-year-old driver was forced to flee for his life Thursday night after a road rage encounter turned violent when occupants of a dark pickup truck opened fire, striking his vehicle twice, police said.
The incident unfolded shortly before 9:30 p.m. near Clipper Drive and Mariner Lane, where the driver told officers he encountered a dark-colored extended cab pickup — possibly a Chevrolet — that suddenly stopped in front of him.
