New wedding, event venue to open in Troy’s historic Ilium building

TROY — On Wednesday, the fifth floor of the historic Ilium building in Troy, its buff-colored brick currently wrapped in a red bow, will be dazzling with disco balls and buzzing with attendees and live music as a new wedding and event venue debuts its space with a New Year’s Eve party.

It’s called Evermore Hall. The venue at 410 Fulton St. has been under construction since earlier this year, said co-owners and husband-wife duo Andy and Cassidy Pevzner. On Dec. 19, construction workers were putting the finishing touches on the renovations of the space, including fastening nearly 50 new massive, custom solid oak windows.
