“Human-centered design is not thinking about yourself less, it’s thinking about others more,” said Joshua René, who facilitates workshops for nonprofits and businesses in central Virginia. He believes the region is home to deeply caring, engaged community members. “You know, 40 plus hours a week people spend at work. Let’s hope that’s a healthy, safe, peaceful, loving, environment.”
An organizational and leadership development expert, René is hopeful for the next 20 years in our region.
“It’s going to require leaders to get us there. My hope is that they choose to serve well, by way of the skill of asking curious questions,” he said.
René is a current board member for Charlottesville Tomorrow…
