A 5-year–old boy is dead, and more than a dozen others are critically injured after an RV collided with another vehicle on a Florida highway just days after Christmas.
On Saturday, Dec. 27, at approximately 5:45 a.m. local time, a motorhome carrying 15 people was traveling south on U.S. Highway 27 when it hit an SUV that was traveling west on County Road 316 in Williston, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a crash report obtained by PEOPLE.
The initial crash then caused the RV to overturn, officials said. A 5-year-old boy in the motorhome was pronounced dead at the scene, and twelve other occupants inside were transported to nearby hospitals with critical injuries…
