Fort Wayne art community celebrates beloved painter Terry Pulley

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Members of the Fort Wayne art community are coming together to celebrate the life and work of beloved painter Terry Pulley.

Pulley, who was from Wabash, passed away in November. He was beloved by his fellow artists around the state.

Starting Friday night, the walls of businesses in the Broadway Arts District will be filled with his art.

Nobody knew Terry better than his wife of 46 years, Teresa. Teresa passed away in July. Their daughter says Terry died of a broken heart just over three months later.

Ruth Koomler, Terry’s friend, says he was one of the first artists she featured when her gallery opened its doors over three years back in the Broadway Arts District. She told 21Alive what made his art so unique…
