Multi-County Police Chase After Tazewell Stabbing Involves Pagan’s Motorcycle Club Members, Two Injured

An incident at a Tazewell convenience store escalated into a police chase spanning multiple counties, involving members of Pagan’s Motorcycle Club. According to WVLT, the Tazewell Police Department arrested individuals tied to the motorcycle club after responding to reports of a large disturbance at Catdaddy’s Market around 4 p.m. on Friday. Officers found one person at the scene with a stab wound to the chest, who was airlifted to UT Medical Center for treatment. The chase ensued when police tried to apprehend several motorcyclists believed to be involved in the incident.

During the pursuit, as WATE reports, the bikers entered Union County, eluding law enforcement from the Tazewell Police Department, the New Tazewell Police Department, and several other agencies. Tazewell Police Chief Jeremy Myers stated in a release that one of the pursued motorcyclists crashed near the Knox County line in a construction zone and was also sent to UT Medical Center for injuries sustained.
