ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester Regional Health has updated hospital masking policies as flu cases continue to surge throughout Monroe County and New York State.
As of Tuesday, all visitors, patients, and staff will be required to wear masks as part of “temporary universal masking.”

According to a release announcing the update, Rochester Regional Health has reported an increase in illness among staff, flu-related hospitalizations, and patients requiring isolation.
