Syracuse DPW says they’re better prepared for this week’s snowstorm

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — After staffing and planning issues contributed to there being fewer plows on city roads this past weekend, Syracuse officials say they are better prepared for the winter storm rolling in on Dec. 29.

Jeremy Robinson, the commissioner of the Syracuse Department of Public Works, said operations will be better this time around.

“We need to prepare ourselves to stay ready, so we don’t ever have to scramble like we did Saturday to get ready,” Robinson said…
