WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – It is that time of the year again, when you question all of the holiday cheat days filled with fine food, drink and a seemingly endless pile of snacks. No wonder we all look forward to a healthier lifestyle when the calendar turns. But I’m not ready to forget about all of my good eats of 2025. That’s why I went back over my food notes to pick out what I felt was the best of the best over the past year.
The following is completely subjective and are mainly based on the single food item I ordered, but metrics like atmosphere or consistency also play a role. I’m sure many of you will disagree with a number of selections, but that is alright, because it’s the season of letting bygones be bygones. Now let’s see who made a big impression in 2025.
