(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs local known as “Mr. Christmas” has extended the deadline for his holiday light food drive in support of Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado.
Due to the sheer amount of support, Mark Ingles, known as Mr. Christmas for his home adorned with over 2,100 holiday lights, is now accepting donations of non-perishable food and cash until Sunday, Jan. 4, at his home on Nugent Drive.

The drive, aiming to collect 4,000 pounds of food to support families in need through Care and Share, was even recognized with a $1,000 donation from Phil Long Kia on Dec. 15.
“It was a wonderful surprise. Very, very, very nice of them to do that,” Ingles told FOX21. “Here in Colorado Springs, even though it’s become a pretty large city, it still has that focus on each other more than other cities might have. And this is just a beautiful example.”…
