RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Reno Recipes’ chefs Jonathan Chapin and Daryl Butterfield show us how to make pineapple Diablo shrimp for the final KOLO Cooks of 2025.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 pineapple chopped
- Roasted Guajillo peppers
- Chili oil
- 1 stick butter
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions:
- In a blender, or using an emulsifier, blend roasted chilis, garlic, pineapple, tomato, vinegar (leaving some chunks) Get pan hot with oil.
- Add shrimp then sauce and pineapple chunks.
- Eat to your hearts desire.
