Stevie Wonder impersonator accused of touching minor ruled competent to stand trial

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Criminal proceedings have been reinstated against a Stevie Wonder impersonator accused of inappropriately touching a minor at a Bakersfield convenience store, with doctors reporting he’s now competent to stand trial.

Tino Ibach was previously found not competent, but court records say he received treatment including medication and was restored to competency — meaning he understands the charges against him and can assist in preparing a defense.
