The chase began around noon on Monday, Dec. 29, when officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police’s Fifth District attempted to stop a vehicle that instead took off and began striking cars, including marked patrol units, authorities said.
Investigators said the driver rammed police cruisers while trying to evade the traffic stop, turning a routine encounter into a dangerous pursuit that unfolded during the middle of the day.
The chase came to an end a short time later in the area of the MARC Train Station on Bowman Mill Road, where officers were able to take the driver into custody without further incident, police said…
