The City of Lauderhill will host an inspirational evening honoring the enduring legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special fireside chat featuring renowned scholars and activists Dr. Cornel West and Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, 3800 NW 11 Place. A VIP reception will begin at 5 p.m.
