Whole Foods Market opened its first Daily Shop location in New Jersey last week, bringing a compact grocery option to a Hoboken neighborhood with a focus on local products.
The 4,851-square-foot store at 101 Washington St. offers more than 350 items from the Northeast, sourced from more than 250 regional suppliers, according to a Dec. 18 news statement from Whole Foods.
The smaller format shop differs from traditional Whole Foods Market locations, and the company has only five compact stores operating in the eastern U.S.
