CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is mourning the loss of a beloved K9 who passed away on Monday, the department announced on social media Tuesday.
K9 Saint was with the department for five years before his retirement.
CMPD remembers Saint for his “determination, drive and unmatched nose” when it came to tracking criminals. Officials say he was “an invaluable part of our team and a devoted protector of this community.”
