CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – As we finish out this year and start 2026, below average temperatures will continue with fluctuations. Temperatures in the 20s tonight, with some cloudiness and perhaps some flurries, as an upper level disturbance swings across the region. On Wednesday for New Year’s Eve, skies return mostly sunny and while not as cold, still chilly. Daytime highs in the 40s, but a breeze from the southwest will make it feel more like the 30s.
