Developer to proceed with $20 million Downtown Cincinnati apartment project

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The owner of a historic building in the heart of downtown Cincinnati will move forward in 2026 with its redevelopment into apartments after mulling multiple options over the foregoing months.

Urban Sites expects to redevelop the Atlas Building, at 530 Walnut St., into 67 mixed-income apartments in a $20.8 million project, according to Kate Greene, president of the Over-the-Rhine-based firm.
