Kroger launches savings program for customers on government aid

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Kroger’s Columbus Division has launched a program aimed at making fresh food and grocery delivery more affordable for customers who receive government aid.

The Verified Savings Program offers a 20% discount on fruits and vegetables and 50% off Boost by Kroger Plus memberships for eligible customers. Qualifying recipients include those in SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, the National School Lunch Program, Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefits and other assistance programs.
