40 firefighters battle Durham house fire; family displaced from Broach Road home, officials say

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A fire at a home in Durham Tuesday afternoon prompted a response from about 40 firefighters, officials said.

According to the Durham Fire Department, firefighters responded just before 1 p.m. to the house in the 300 block of Broach Road. They located an active blaze that had heavy smoke coming from the front of the house.
