Meet The WHS Pet Of The Week
Meet Vlad! The Warrick Humane Society pet of the week! Vlad is a four-year-old German Shepherd who comes to the WHS via Evansville Animal Care and Control. Up to date on all his vaccines, deworming, and prevention, Vlad is also microchipped and neutered. The only thing Vlad is missing is his furever home. The shelter describes him as sweet, energetic, and somewhat protective in nature. He loves stuffed animals, carrying them around, and presenting them to guests. Got a thing for rope toys and spending time outside running or walking? Vlad does!

“ While he did not do well with the adult man in the home, Vlad has done great with everyone here at the shelter. We believe his behavior may be connected to past trauma or specific triggers, and he would do best in a home that understands and respects those boundaries and is able to work with him.”…
