A shooting in East Oakland yesterday has left one person dead and detectives with more questions than answers, as the apparent victim turned up at a hospital before police could even find a crime scene.
How the victim reached the hospital
According to KRON4, investigators said the shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. yesterday. An unidentified person brought the wounded individual to an Oakland hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. No arrests have been announced, and authorities are withholding the victim’s name until relatives are notified.
