A robbery and assault in Long Beach in April has been reclassified as a homicide after the victim died months later.
Jose Eduardo Viveros, 73, was attacked on April 20 in the 800 block of Elm Avenue as he tried to enter his home, the Long Beach Police Department said in a news release.
