Micah Legnon once served his country as a Marine — but now he faces federal charges linked to an alleged New Year’s Eve terror plot, according to court documents.
The charges
Authorities allege that Legnon is connected to the Turtle Island Liberation Front, an anti-government extremist group accused of planning coordinated attacks across Southern California.
Court records show that Legnon was charged with one count of making threats across state lines.
The FBI referenced him during a press briefing on the four people who were arrested over their ties to the Turtle Island Liberation Front, though his identity wasn’t shared at the time.
