LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – At St Catherine Court, Tina Moody stood in the doorway of the 15-story public housing tower with her bag packed and her patience at an end.
“I mean, they didn’t give us enough time really to get everything we need,” Moody said. “I still got a bunch of stuff up there that needs to be taken care of before I have to vacate.”
Moody is among 144 residents displaced after an electrical fire cut off power.
No one was hurt, but the extreme cold had officials at the Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) temporarily relocating residents to their choice of friends, family or a hotel room…
