CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) – An addiction treatment facility in Clarksville is expanding for 2026. Avenues Recovery Center has added 48 new beds to accommodate more people seeking sobriety.
“I think that every single person is affected by addiction,” Megan Stevenson, Avenues Recovery Center Clinical Director said. “Any person who doesn’t know what we do here, they will know somebody that’s affected by that. Whether it’s themselves or a loved one they’ve lost to that disease, we all are affected by this, which only tells you the magnitude of addiction in general.”
Avenues Recovery Center opened in Clarksville in 2022 with 91 beds. The newly completed expansion will reduce waiting times for treatment. They are expected to fill up fast, reflecting the seriousness of the problem…
