GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids Comptroller Max Frantz is suing the city over what he says was the “unlawful” reassignment of the majority of staff from his office earlier this year.
Frantz filed a lawsuit Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Kent County Circuit Court against the city, Grand Rapids commissioners, City Manager Mark Washington and Chief Financial Officer Molly Clarin.
