FONTANA, CA – “The residents of Fontana will not stand for crimes that target our neighborhoods. Mail theft is a serious offense that impacts victims financially and personally. It takes the help of our community to stop these crimes, and we appreciate residents who report suspicious activity.
On Christmas Eve, Fontana Police officers were dispatched to a neighborhood near Randall Avenue and Mango Avenue regarding two subjects stealing mail from residential mailboxes. A reporting party provided a description of the suspects’ vehicle, which officers quickly located fleeing the area.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the two occupants, identified as Elizabeth Valenzuela, age 35, and Shala Green, age 39. Both individuals matched the suspect descriptions.
