Authorities recovered a man’s body Monday from the waters of Lake Natoma in Folsom, one day after a Roseville man’s personal belongings were discovered along the American River Bike Trail.
California State Parks said the man was located in the water at about 11:20 a.m. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office took custody of the body for identification and to determine the cause of death, rangers said.
The belongings were found Sunday morning near the shoreline of Lake Natoma, just downstream from Black Miners Bar, prompting a search involving State Parks rangers, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office dive team, Folsom police and Folsom firefighters…
