San Diego County Sheriff’s K-9s receive new protective vests

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that all of their patrol K-9s will wear new storm ballistic vests.

Deputies shared the vest will help ensure canine safety while on duty. According to the Sheriff’s Office, this was made possible due to a donation from a private donor and the support of the Honorary Deputy Sheriff Association (HDSA).
