TOLEDO, Ohio — Police arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly choking a woman after he “became angry about a sandwich that was not made properly,” and then choking and hitting her again while she was holding an infant.
Brandon Weigt, 24, is charged with one fourth-degree felony count of strangulation and one misdemeanor count each of of endangering children, domestic violence and assault.
According to court documents, after Weigt became enraged over the sandwich, he choked the victim until she could not breathe. He later began choking the victim again, threatening to kill her and punching her “several times in the back of the head,” while she was holding the infant, who is 4 months old…
